I don’t know how to put it into words what Ms. Rochena Crosby means to me.
For Ms. Crosby opened the door of her home/organization and didn’t know me at all. She stepped out on faith and gave me a chance for which I will always hold her in my heart and be forever grateful to her.
For if she had not helped me in my recovery, I wouldn’t be in Cleveland in my own home today I was being released from prison on parole and had a home but needed time to make it liveable and parole wanted to send me to Akron for housing. Not only was my home here in Cleveland but first and foremost my recovery support and mental health services are right here in Cleveland. But they were still choosing to find me housing in Akron but God chose Ms. Rochena and we know God doesn’t make any mistakes and Ms. Rochena isn’t any mistake when it comes to helping women on any level especially recovery.
